The Bugaboo Otter by Nuna is a premium infant car seat designed to keep your baby safe, comfortable and secure from day one up until approximately 15 months (or max. 13 kg / 87 cm) in line with i-Size certification. It's ergonomic shape creates a cosy “cocoon” for sleep and travel, while versatile compatibility means it can integrate with your car and your stroller system.

Safety & Protection

Fully i-Size certified (meets R129 safety standards) for side-impact protection.
Triple-layer protection system: a robust outer shell, energy-absorbing foam bonded to the shell, and the patented Tailor Tech™ memory-foam headrest for superior protection around the head/neck area.
High-strength handle that helps reduce impact forces on the shell in case of collision.
Designed for optimum safety when used with the optional Bugaboo 360Base by Nuna (sold separately) which provides ISOFIX anchorage and a crumple zone in the base leg.

Comfort & Adaptive Fit

Suitable from newborn through to approx. 15 months (max. 13 kg / 87 cm).
Three recline positions, including a fully laid-flat mode (approx. 157°) so your baby can nap comfortably in-car or on the pushchair.
Ten adjustable headrest positions for a tailor-made fit as your baby grows.
A removable newborn insert made from breathable Merino wool and TENCEL Lyocell provides cosy early support, then easily removed as your baby gets bigger.
Lightweight construction: around 4 kg (without insert/sun canopy) or approximately 4.8 kg total.

Compatibility & Travel System Ready

The Otter can be installed in a vehicle using the seat-belt via a belt-guide on the shell, making it compatible with cars that may not have ISOFIX.
For added convenience use the optional Bugaboo 360 Base for one-click installation and swivel capability.
Also designed to click onto several Bugaboo pushchairs (with appropriate adapters) so you can create a seamless travel-system from car to stroll.

What a wonderful shop! My husband and I visited a couple of times, we were assisted by the extremely knowledgeable Megan and Isabella - both so friendly and helpful. Megan spent so much time with us taking us through the different products from car seats, prams, next to me cribs, high chairs - everything! No questions were too much for them, they were honest and we still felt we could make our own decisions on what we wanted with their guidance. We placed an order for all of the main items which we are looking forward to collecting in December when our baby is due - another massive perk of the shop is that due to their independence they can hold onto your orders until you are ready to collect! Overall completely delighted and looking forward to picking up our baby bits in a few weeks. They also offer a discount on your overall order (I’m not sure if this is on all the time) but it was even sweeter to save some money on a big order. Thank you Bababoom, so nice to still have a local and independent baby shop x

I cannot rate Bababoom highly enough!
