The BeSafe Preemie Inlay is a specialised support insert designed to give premature and very small newborns extra comfort, support and a safer, snug fit in compatible car seats — especially the BeSafe Go Beyond and other BeSafe infant carriers. It’s ideal for tiny babies (approx. 40–60 cm) who may need a bit more cushioning and positioning help than standard infant inserts provide.

  • Neutral neck position: Designed in collaboration with neonatal care experts so your baby’s neck and airway are comfortably aligned.

  • Removable wedge cushion: A built-in wedge lifts the baby slightly to improve harness belt positioning — and can be removed as they grow.

  • Soft, breathable fabric: Made with premium SoftBreeze material that’s gentle on delicate skin and helps air circulate.

  • Crash tested to safety standards: Tested with BeSafe Go Beyond seats according to UN R129 regulations.

  • Easy care: Machine washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle (dry flat).

📏 Compatibility & Use

  • Best suited for premature or very small newborns (approx. 40–60 cm).

  • Optimally fits BeSafe Go Beyond infant seats but can be used with other BeSafe infant car seats.

  • For safest use, BeSafe recommends the most reclined or lay-flat position of your car seat when using the inlay.

What a wonderful shop! My husband and I visited a couple of times, we were assisted by the extremely knowledgeable Megan and Isabella - both so friendly and helpful. Megan spent so much time with us taking us through the different products from car seats, prams, next to me cribs, high chairs - everything! No questions were too much for them, they were honest and we still felt we could make our own decisions on what we wanted with their guidance. We placed an order for all of the main items which we are looking forward to collecting in December when our baby is due - another massive perk of the shop is that due to their independence they can hold onto your orders until you are ready to collect! Overall completely delighted and looking forward to picking up our baby bits in a few weeks. They also offer a discount on your overall order (I’m not sure if this is on all the time) but it was even sweeter to save some money on a big order. As first time parents when we first visited we weren’t exactly sure what we needed but Megan spent loads of time talking us through everything without trying to oversell to us. You get a level of customer service here that you wouldn’t get in big retail shops.
