If you feel that having someone to talk to would help then making an appointment to see Louisa should be your next step. At your first meeting you will be encouraged to discuss why you have made the appointment and what you feel the issues are. You will be encouraged to look not only at yourself as an individual but also within the context of your family. Together you will find out about each other and at the end of the session you will be able to decide what to do next. You may want to have further sessions or you may feel reassured and that at this time you feel you don't need any further sessions.
You may want to come with your partner if relationship issues factor into your concerns or simply for moral support. We aim to offer a friendly, flexible service tailored to your individual needs.
Our counsellor doesn't just work with new or expecting parents. Anyone may access their services and it is important if you or someone you know feels low or are worrying more than usual that you find someone to talk it through with.
Louisa is a fully qualified counsellor and holds a diploma in Humanistic Counselling. Louisa is a Registered & Accredited member of the BACP & subscribes to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
